Jeanne Jabara

Advisor

Jeanne Jabara is a science educator with more than 20 years of experience in Prince William County Schools and more than that as an environmental scientist.  She is currently an Energy Education and Sustainability Coordinator in Facilities Services where she mentors and encourages students, teachers, administrators and staff from grades K-12 on practices of Energy Conservation and Sustainability.  She has recently collaborated on two federal grants, bringing together local government agencies, community organizations, and businesses to effect sustainable change and opportunities for schools, students and staff.  She is a strong proponent of environmental literacy for all, believes that landfills are the best place for a field trip, and her favorite places are gardens, especially ones with native plants.
