Desmen Boykin

Desmen Boykin is a 12th grader at the Governors School @ Innovation Park in Manassas, Virginia. He

has a deep passion for studying the environment and the negative impacts of pollution and has researched the effects of various petroleum and bio-based plastic polymers on the development of plants, in order to help his Nanticoke tribal community in Delaware. Desmen has many hobbies which include representing the tribe at Powwows through native dance, playing classical and baroque piano pieces and studying various languages and cultures.
